Question: Can you use this as a leave in conditioner?

Answer: We don't recommend it, as it is a compliation of volumizers and moisturizers, and can potentially weigh the hair down as a leave-in. It is designed to be rinsed very well, thus leaving the springiness in the inner portion of the hair.

Assuming you are looking for volume, the PerForm Gel is made with similar ingredients that volumize the hair. What else our customers have discovered is a trick that we like ourselves..... to use PerForm Control Styling Gel in a small amount and work through the hair.

THEN, spray a very light amount of VirgINity Hair Repair and style! Great volume, shine and hold! EnCore is our only conditioner that is really designed as a leave-in conditioner, which is based on RoMANce Deep Conditioning Treatment....If you have fine hair, we recommend to use it only on the most damaged portions of the hair, until you have repaired the hair enough to stop using it.

Question: Do you products contain alcohol?

Answer: We are delighted to say...no! Although in scientific nomenclature, you may see that word, but the alcohol that you are concerned with, we are assuming, is SD Alcohol, or ethanol, neither of which we have in any of our food-grade products! Thanks for asking!

Question: Have fine, frizzy, straight hair. Does it weigh down?

Answer: Great question! Fine hair that frizzes is quite a challenge. Most smoothing agents tend to be heavy, as you know. Either you have flat no frizz, or fine frizz that flies away, depending on what you are using that day!

Taffy is very versatile, and I will tell you what we've learned from our own experience in the salon as well as what our satisfied customers have told us. When you first put the Taffy in your hand, only put about the size of a pea. Rub your hands together as if you are putting it on as a hand lotion and rub until it feels tacky. Then, add a few drops of water to your palm, and rub again the same way.

At that point start applying to your hair (freshly shampooed and still wet) paying attention to spreading it around as evenly as possible. Then, with a fine comb, detangle and distribute it even more. Style like you normally do! The other thing we've learned is that rather than using a few drops of water with the above description, use PerForm Control Styling Gel instead, which helps to keep the volume and bounce in the hair.

I'll say it again...Put a pea-sized amount of Taffy in your hand, rub until tacky like a hand lotion, and then add a similar amount of PerForm Control Styling Gel, rub again, and apply evenly to hair! Try it out, and let others know, as everyone seems to find their "magic" mixture with Belegenza products.

By the way, you might try doing the above in the reverse order as some have shared. The difference though is that they apply a bit before they add the second product. In other words, they rub the PerForm Gel, apply a bit to the hair, then dilute it with Taffy, rub again, and then apply.... Use your creativity! Ultimately, you will see that the frizz will stay in control better than ever...and only you will know that you ever had frizz to begin with!

P.S. I have curly/frizzy hair, too......you'd never know it, and I never worry about it any more!
